Description
The cemetery, part of Dreghorn and Pearston Old Parish Church, dates primarily from 1780, with repairs undertaken in 1854 and subsequent refurnishing. The church itself is an octagon in plan, featuring a projecting steeple. The churchyard contains several interesting monuments. A gateway is marked by piers surmounted by ball finials. The structure is referenced in "Architecture of Scottish Post Reformation Churches" on pages 95 and 248, including a plan and figure 33.
