Description

Driveway bridge of uncertain date; possibly 18th century, as access to the MacKenzie's Seaforth Lodge, or alternatively (if less probably) built after 1944, the year in which Sir James Matheson acquired Lews, before beginning a complete rebuilding of the house and policies. Plain single archway (approx 5 feet span), built of rubble, including voussoirs. Low ledges, rather than parapets.
