Description
This building at 101 High Street in Elgin dates from around 1830 and is a three-storey, three-bay structure, with the west bay being canted. The ground floor features a shop and a narrow flat-headed entrance leading to a pend. The exterior is rendered and painted. The first and second floors have finely tooled coursers, with ashlar dressings and rusticated quoins. The first-floor windows are adorned with a moulded architrave and a corniced frieze, along with a cornice and blocking course above. The building has corniced stacks and a slate roof.
