Description

82 High Street in Forres is a building dating from around 1820. It is a three-storey structure with a symmetrical five-bay design that includes a central basket-arched pend and two flanking three-bay shops. The ground floor features a rusticated finish, while the upper levels are constructed of tooled ashlar with polished ashlar dressings and quoins. The building has moulded raised architraves, and the first-floor sash windows retain their astragals with two-pane glazing. Additional features include an eaves band, a panelled end stack, and a slate roof.
