Description

2 Spey Street in Garmouth is a pair of cottages built in the later 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The cottages are two stories high and have three bays. They feature harled solid clay walls and each cottage has a central door. On the first floor, there are two gabled windows that break the wallhead, likely added in the mid to late 19th century, with modern glazing in No 1. The cottages have end and ridge stacks, with the ridge and the end stack of No 2 having been renewed. The roof is covered with slate.
