Description

This is a late 19th century, single storey and attic, 3-bay house located at 8 High Street, Portknockie. The building is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted concrete dressings. It features a corniced centre door and a single window in the east gable. Gabled dormers break the wallhead in the outer bays, and the windows have 2-pane glazing with modern timber frames. The house has coped end stacks and slate roofs. There is a modern wing added to the rear of the house, built in 1988.
