Description

5 High Street in Portknockie is a house built around 1900. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and has three bays. The building is made of rubble with contrasting painted joints and concrete dressings. It features a centrally located entrance with a cornice, and the outer bays have canted wallhead dormers. The windows have four-pane glazing, and there are coped stacks at the ends of the building. The roof is covered with slate, and there is an external staircase at the rear.
