Description

The Methodist Church in Seatown, Cullen, was designed by architect John Fowlie in 1905. It is a substantial rectangular hall church constructed from dark rubble with contrasting concrete dressings. The south gable features a hoodmoulded round-headed entrance, flanked by similarly detailed windows. Above this entrance, there are three round-headed gallery windows under a continuous hoodmould. The east and west elevations each have four long round-headed windows with keystones and margined multi-pane glazing. The church has a slate roof, which includes apex finials that are damaged on the south side.
