The exterior is made of painted rubble with contrasting joints and painted concrete dressings that have both long and short detailing. The wide central entrance has a hoodmould and includes a panelled door with side panels that have cushion cross-rails beneath the sidelights and a fanlight above. There are flanking bipartite windows, and all ground floor openings have chamfered segmental-headed lintels. The outer bays feature canted corbelled oriel dormers, and the windows have 2- and 4-pane glazing. The house has coped end stacks and a slate roof.
