Description

This is a small, mid-18th century dovecot built of rubble with clay mortar and harled. It has a renewed slate roof and crowstepped gables with two gablets, each containing three flight-holes. A door is located in the centre of the south front. The dovecot was restored around 1970. References to this building are found in R Douglas’s Dovecots of Moray (1931, p. 40) and Elizabeth Beaton’s The Doocots of Moray (1978, p. 19).
