Description

28 South Deskford Street is a single-storey, three-bay cottage situated at the corner of South Deskford Street and Queen's Drive. This cottage is part of a row built by William Robertson between 1824 and 1825. To the right of the door, there is a carved and inscribed stone plaque set into the wall. The cottage is made of squared and snecked rubble with rendered margins, and it features a later harl render. The windows are timber sash and case with a four-pane glazing pattern. There are two coped end chimney stacks, and the roofs are covered with grey slate. Additionally, a descriptive metal plaque is attached to the north gable wall.
