Description

144 High Street in Forres is a building dated 1766 that stands two storeys tall. The ground floor is dry-dashed, while the gable facing the street is rendered. This gable features a door with a moulded architrave and a window that was enlarged in the later 19th century for use as a shop. On the first floor of the street gable, there are two windows with 12-pane glazing. The building has plain flanks, a crowstepped gable on the south side, and a slate roof.
