Description
The Mansion House at 1 Ardgowan Square in Greenock is a two-storey building with a basement, constructed from ashlar in the late 17th century Scots manner. It features a peind roof, quoins, and a central semi-circular pediment. The doorpiece is asymmetrically placed, and there is a small circular corbelled tower. The building was designed by Sir R. Rowand Anderson in 1886.
