Description
Duchal House is a two-storey building with a full basement, designed in the Renaissance style. The main block features a symmetrical front with a 'Palladian' doorpiece that has Doric pilasters and rustic quoins. The house dates from around 1768, but a portion of the original 1710 structure can still be found in the late southwest wing, which is referred to as the new wing due to its alterations shortly after 1768.
