Description
This is an asymmetrical, two-storey house dating to circa 1845. Constructed of rubble with tooled dressings, it is located on Ord Place in Lairg. The south elevation features a door near the centre, flanked to the east by a slightly projecting, gabled bay. This projecting bay has a wooden mullion dividing the ground and first-floor windows. A first-floor window in the outer (western) bay breaks the wallhead with a small gablet. The windows have multi-pane and 12-pane glazing. The house has coped end stacks and slate roofs. Further detail is provided in Ewing's Annals of the Free Church, volume two, page 221.
