Description
This building, located at 2-4 High Street in Cromarty, is an early 19th-century house with a shop on the left side. It is two stories high with an attic and features four bays. The structure is made of coursed rubble that is partly cherry-cocked, with polished ashlar dressings and rusticated quoins. The shop, which occupies the two left bays, has an ornate Edwardian design with pilasters, a delicate cast-iron arcade, and cresting. The building includes 12-pane sash windows, wallhead dormers, and scroll skewputts on the left side. The roof is slate, and there are two windows in the gable end facing the street.
