Description
1 Forsyth Place in Cromarty is a tall three-storey, three-bay house built in 1808, which features a later shop on the ground floor. The building is constructed of cherry pointed ashlar with polished or droved dressings and has raised quoins. The entrance is located on Forsyth Place, with a glazed shop projection, while the centre door on Church Street is flanked by shop windows. The house has twelve-pane sash windows, and an eaves band connects the lintels of the second-storey windows, returning across the gable as a band course. The roof is slate.
