Description

Dunmaglass Bridge is a single span rubble bridge built around 1830, featuring a slight hump-back. The structure is made of rubble, with a dressed rubble arch ring that springs from low dressed rubble abutments. The end piers are topped with pyramidal ashlar caps, and the low parapet has a roughly tooled cope. The bridge has splayed approaches and an approximate span of 36 feet. Winged retaining walls flank the bridge on either side.
