Description

Dulsie Bridge is a high single span rubble bridge, likely designed by Major William Caulfied in 1755. It features a small secondary arch over a culvert on the west bank. The bridge is primarily constructed from Ardclach granite, with dressed granite arch rings and a parapet. It has a sharply curved approach from the south on the east bank and from the north on the west bank. The span of the bridge measures 46 feet, and the height from the parapet to the normal water level is 56 feet.
