Description

The Railway Viaduct over the old A9 road in Tomatin was built in 1897. It features nine spans with tall round-headed arch rings. The structure is made of tooled rubble, accented with tooled rusticated ashlar dressings. There is an ashlar string course and a parapet that ends in square piers. Each arch ring is approximately 36 feet wide.
