Description

The West Entrance Gates to Novar House comprise a late 18th century arrangement of gate piers, carriage gates, and screenwork. The gate piers are made of channelled ashlar, featuring moulded copes and ball finials. A pair of cast-iron carriage gates are set between the piers. Simple square end piers are connected to the main gate piers by short cast-iron and pilastered wooden screens.
