Description

The icehouse at Braemore House was likely built in the late 1860s for Sir John Fowler, an engineer. It features a masonry vaulted chamber that measures approximately 12 meters by 5.5 meters and stands 5 meters high. The entrance has a short arched passage that is flanked by wing walls.
