5 Gower Street in Tain is a mid-19th century house that stands two storeys high with an attic. The building features three bays, a large central door, and a spacious glazed porch. The exterior is made of sneck coursed rubble, with painted stone margins on the south gable that is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar. It has end stacks and a slate roof.
