Description
11-19 Church Street in Inverness is a building designed by Alexander Ross and Son in 1908, showcasing a French Renaissance style with ashlar stonework. The structure has three storeys and an attic, featuring a two-bay front. At the ground floor, there are channelled strip pilasters alongside a modern shopfront and a corniced door. The first and second floors are adorned with giant Corinthianesque pilasters, and the left window is a recessed bay window set within an architraved opening. The building is topped with a bracketed cornice and a balustrade. In the attic on the left, there is a gablet that includes a segmental-arched, architraved window with a key block at the right dormer. The building is also distinguished by tall round-coped chimneys.
