Description

Barkly House, located in Braehead, Cromarty, is a building from the later 18th century. It features harled walls with chamfered ashlar margins and stands two storeys high with an attic. The structure has three bays, with a central door and segment-headed dormers. The south gable has a crowstepped design at the rear. The roof is slated. On the rear elevation facing Duke Street, one of the ground floor windows has been enlarged.
