Description

69 Bank Street in Glasgow is a pair of three-storey tenement blocks built around 1852, separated by a gap site. The building at No. 65 features eight bays with a four-bay side facing Great George Street, while No. 69 has four bays. The exterior is made of droved ashlar, with the stone cleaned at No. 65 and painted at the ground level of No. 69.

Both buildings have wide architraved doorpieces with cornices and fanlights. All windows are architraved, with cornices at the ground and first floors. The windows are sash style, featuring either plate-glass or four-pane glazing. A plain main cornice runs along the top, and there are axial and wallhead stacks with slate roofs. Notably, the third bay of No. 65 has two single-light windows.

Inside No. 65, each floor is divided into two large flats.
