120 West Campbell Street, Glasgow

This building at 120 West Campbell Street in Glasgow dates from around 1830 and features two storeys plus a basement. It has a main facade with five bays across and two three-bay extensions to the south. The first two bays from the north on West Campbell Street are blind, while the second bay from the west on West Regent Street is blind at the first floor. Originally a classical block in an end terrace, it has been converted into offices.

The exterior is finished in painted ashlar and includes a basement band. A pilastered central doorpiece with a flat block pediment is located at the entry, which is accessed by steps that oversail the basement. The building has sash and case windows set within architraves, with cornicing at the ground floor. There is an eaves cornice and a blocking course that is raised in the center. These architectural details are also present on the elevation facing West Campbell Street, which features a small arched window in a truncated pedimented gable.
