Flats 1-14 at 601 Tollcross Road in Glasgow is a building designed by David Bryce of Edinburgh in 1848 as a country house for James Dunlop. The structure showcases Scots Renaissance architecture with asymmetrical elevations, square bartizans derived from Pinkie, crow-stepped gables, and steep-pedimented dormer heads. It features buckle quoins and coped stacks, with some stacks having individual flues. The building is constructed of ashlar and has slate roofs, consisting of two storeys with attics. Notable elements include advanced gabled bays, particularly the entrance bay, and the detailing continues on the lower service range to the left, which has a conical-roofed turret. There is a variety of glazing patterns throughout the building, while the interiors are simple.
