Description
St Rule is a later 19th century double villa consisting of two 2-bay houses. The building is 2 storeys high with an attic gable over the outer bays. It features curved 2-storey windows and paired centre porches that have fret-worked gables and columns with foliated capitals. The exterior is constructed with ashlar coursers and includes plate glass sashes, bracketted eaves, paired inner rooflights, and end stacks with decorative chimney cans, all topped with slate roofs. There are also three gatepiers; the gateways were originally paired, but the one leading to number 30 has been widened for vehicle access, reusing the original pier. A low boundary wall surrounds the property.
