Description
26 Queen's Drive is a double villa built in the later 19th century. It is two stories high, featuring gabled attic storeys at the end bays, which are constructed with timber framing. The villa has two-storey canted windows that are connected by full-width timber open porches, each porch consisting of two bays supported by columns with polygonal heads. The exterior is finished with ashlar coursers, plate glass sashes, and bracketted cornices along the main eaves. There are paired rooflights at the center, with decorative chimney cans on the end stacks, and the roof is covered with slate.
The property is enclosed by a low boundary wall, which includes paired gateways and three gatepiers that have arched panels.
