Description

Circa 1880. 6-bay terrace adjoining 1-7 Bowmont Terrace at E.

3 storeys attic and basement. Polished ashlar channelled at

ground.

Roman Doric pilastered doorpieces (Nos 8 and 9 paired)

double-leaf panelled outer doors, tripartite vestibule doors

with glazed sidelights. Full-height canted windows flank

doors, otherwise 1st floor windows with consoled cornice;

architraved at 2nd floor. Sash windows, plate glass glazing.

Band course at 2nd floor cills; plain eaves cornice, blocking

course. Slate roofs, corniced axial stacks.

Cast-iron railings to steps and basement, some damaged.
