9 Bowmont Gardens, Glasgow

9 Bowmont Gardens in Glasgow is a six-bay terrace building dating from around 1880, located next to 1-7 Bowmont Terrace to the east. The structure consists of three storeys, an attic, and a basement, with the ground level featuring polished ashlar stonework that is channelled.

The entrance is marked by Roman Doric pilastered doorpieces, with the doors for numbers 8 and 9 paired together. These feature double-leaf panelled outer doors and tripartite vestibule doors that include glazed sidelights. Full-height canted windows are positioned on either side of the doors, while the first-floor windows have a consoled cornice, and the second-floor windows are architraved. The windows throughout are sash style with plate glass glazing. A band course runs along the second-floor cills, and there is a plain eaves cornice and a blocking course above. The roof is covered in slate and features corniced axial stacks.

There are cast-iron railings leading to the steps and basement, although some of these railings are damaged.
