Description

Forgan House Steadings, dating from 1803, is a two-storey building with a three-window front made of whin rubble. The south-facing front features sandstone quoin angles and dressings, with railed steps leading to the door, while the rest of the building is harled. There is a piend-roofed back wing that is also harled, which includes a first-floor belt course and a Roman Doric porch in the angle. An additional narrow section at the east gable has a canted bay front. The property also includes single-storey offices with piend roofs, all covered with slate.
