Description
Cameron Bridge is a three-arch bridge reconstructed in 1870, originally dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, and incorporating earlier materials. It spans the River Leven and features cutwater buttresses. The bridge is built with ashlar coping and squared rubble, with some sections having a bull-faced finish. It has a stepped, pulvinated band course, and the two voussoirs and keystones are raised as distinctive tabs on the central and southern arches. There is a moulded panel, possibly dated 1705, located on the east side above the smallest northern arch. The banks on each side of the bridge are revetted.
