Description

The Old Station Hotel, located at 4-5 Alexandra Place in St Andrews, was built in 1870 and designed by architect Jesse Hall. This building features two storeys, a basement, and an attic, all constructed from ashlar stone. It has bay windows and a distinctive rounded corner topped with a slated spirelet and dormers that have pediments. The design incorporates Renaissance details.
