Description

Gibson Hospital, located on Argyle Street in St Andrews, was built between 1882 and 1884 by architects Hall and Henry. This Jacobean style building is two stories tall and constructed from stugged ashlar stone with a slate roof. It features an E-shaped plan and has a prominent three-story central tower topped with an ogee roof. The entrance is highlighted by a Roman Doric pilastered design.
