Description
75 High Street in Aberdour is an earlier 18th century, two-storey, three-bay rectangular-plan house. The exterior features rendered walls with painted stone margins and a painted base course on the principal elevation.
On the northwest, or principal elevation, there is a centrally located door, with a blocked door to the left that has been rendered over. The outer bays contain windows, and there are three first-floor windows positioned close to the eaves, directly above the ground floor openings.
The southwest elevation is attached to 77 High Street. The northeast elevation is a plain, rendered gable wall. The southeast, or rear elevation, is partially visible and includes a long single-storey outshot.
The house has a modern timber panelled door with upper glazing and 12-pane timber sash and case windows. The rear features modern fenestration, including a rooflight. The pitched roof is covered with graded grey slate and has coped skew on the northeast side, along with rendered coped gable apex stacks.
Notably, there is a rendered round-headed arch leading to a close, which is attached to the northwest and northeast corners and connects to 61 High Street. An inscribed stone reading 'RM WV 1723' is located on the northwest side, along with moulded stone coping.
