Description
34 and 36 High Street in Aberdour is an 18th-century, two-storey, three-bay rectangular-plan house. The building features a rendered exterior with exposed curb stone at the base along the main front.
The southeast elevation, which is the principal side, has an asymmetrical layout. The door is located off-centre to the right, with a window to the left and a pend entrance at the far right that leads to 32 and 34 High Street. On the first floor, the windows are positioned close to the eaves; there is a window to the left directly above the ground floor window, and a narrow window to the right above the far left of the pend entrance.
The southwest elevation is attached to 30 High Street, while the southeast elevation connects to 38 High Street.
The house has a modern timber door and a two-leaf boarded door for the pend. It features four-pane timber sash and case windows. The roof is pitched with a slate eaves easing course and modern red clay pantiles. There is a raised skew with a partially moulded skewputt on the southwest side, along with a rendered coped stack and replacement circular cans to the southwest.
