Description

Ballingry Parish Church was built in 1831 and renovated in 1876. It is designed in the Gothic Revival style and originally had a T-plan layout. The church is constructed of rubble. Notable features include a belfry with a bell dated 1658 located in the west gable, and a 2-light window dated 1661 in the north gable, both of which are from an earlier church that stood on the same site. A south arm was added recently, designed to match the existing style.
