Description
The Dovecot at Wester Cartmore is an early 19th-century circular-plan structure made of rubble sandstone, featuring ashlar rat courses, an eaves course, and a cornice. The building is now partly in ruins, with a single-storey addition with a pantiled roof added to the north at a later date. Most of the ashlar nesting boxes remain intact, but the roof has been missing since 1937. The entrance to the north-northeast is boarded up.
