Description

This is a 1789 sawmill, with a set dial dating from 1646. The building is single-storey and constructed from rubble with a pantile roof, featuring straight skews and skewputs. The western section is lower and has a slate roof. It was reclassified as a Category C(S) building in 2006, recognising its contribution to the wider group value of buildings in the area. The listing applies to both the interior and exterior of the sawmill. The statutory address is Scotscraig Farm Building (Sawmill in 1969).
