Description

This is an earlier 19th century farm cottage, built as a single-storey, three-bay rectangular structure. The exterior walls are constructed of coursed squared rubble stone with dressed edges that have been smoothed. The roof is slated, with a swept, piended shape. A central rectangular chimney stack features a cavetto cornice. The west-facing front has a central door set within a shallow, projecting porch with a catslide roof. Flanking the door are windows with projecting margins. A single-storey, harled extension is situated at the rear of the cottage. The statutory address is Kinnaird Cottage (detached).
