Description
Wester Craigfoodie is a house built in the later 18th century. It is two stories tall and has three bays, with single-storey lean-to additions on the west and north sides. The north side features a low crow-stepped gabled wing that may include earlier building materials and has a pantiled roof. The exterior is harled with painted margins.
On the south elevation, there is a central panelled double door with a fanlight and a Roman Doric columned doorpiece. The windows are 12-pane sashes, with some having been enlarged. The house has straight skews and corniced end stacks, topped with a slate roof. There is a re-set pedimented stone in the low lean-to on the right, inscribed with "R S" and "PASTRUUS." To the north, there is a single-storey outhouse made of rubble, featuring a basket-arched carriage entrance, a door, and a window.
