Description

The gate piers at Airdire Lodge date from the later 18th century and are made of ashlar stone. They are rectangular in shape and feature vermiculated rustication bands and angles. The piers have a swagged frieze with a band of Greek key design below it, topped with a moulded cornice. Each pier is adorned with cast-iron urns, and there are wrought-iron gates between them.
