Description
The dovecot, dated to the later 18th century, is a two-storey, octagonal structure with concave sides. It is built of harled rubble with an ashlar plinth and a bandcourse separating the ground and first floors. A cornice and blocking course are present, topped with capped ball finials at each angle. A door is located at ground level, and an oculus with keyblocks sits above the door and at the upper floor level. The statutory address is West Pitkierie Dovecot.
