Description

Murrayfield House, located on James Street in Pittenweem, is an early 19th-century classical building. It is two stories tall with an attic and features a three-window facade, including one later canted bay. The exterior is harled with raised quoins and has a Roman Doric column doorpiece with margins. The roof is piended and slated, with one slated dormer. The east wing is a single-storey structure that remains unaltered and has one window and a gate. The west wing has been rebuilt at a later date and heightened, featuring a pedimented dormer head.
