Description
Balclevie is an early 19th-century single-storey cottage. It originally had a two-window facade with a central door and a stable wing under a single roof. The north front was originally constructed from exposed rubble, while the south front was rebuilt in 1971 and is now rendered. The roof is pantiled. In 2006, the building was re-categorized from a B-listed building to a C-listed building, recognizing its group value and importance within the surrounding area. The listing applies to both the interior and exterior of the property. The statutory address is Balclevie (Mrs Forgie), Main Street, Kilconquhar.
