Description

Rowanlea is a late 18th-century house situated on Main Street, Kilconquhar, which was modernised in the early 20th century. It is a single-storey building with an attic, featuring a two-window facade and a central door. The windows have been altered to have bipartites. There are piended dormers with bipartite windows, and one gable has a crowstepped detail at the rear. The building is listed for its group value, reflecting its contribution to the surrounding area, and the listing applies to both the interior and exterior. The statutory address is Rowanlea (Mr. Mackae) East End.
