The Registrar's Offices at 22 St Mary's Place in St Andrews were built in 1846 by architect William Nixon. The building is designed in a Romanesque style, featuring a central belfry and a matching gateway. Behind the offices is a teacher's house designed in Tudor Gothic style. Significant additions were made to the building in 1894. Additionally, the east boundary wall of the playground is part of the medieval Greyfriars precinct wall.
