United Presbyterian Manse, Bonnygate, Cupar

The United Presbyterian Manse in Bonnygate, Cupar, is a large villa dated 1893, as noted above the right-hand ground floor window. It is a two-storey building constructed with stugged coursers and features ashlar dressing. The front has three bays, with the left bay set forward and topped with a piended roof. The ground floor has a modern tripartite window, while the first floor has a bipartite window. The central bay includes a door with a bracketed hood, a banded fish scale roof at the angle, a single light window, and a panelled apron above. The right bay features a shallow corniced rectangular tripartite window that rises to a bipartite first floor, with a piended dormer-head above the eaves. The roof is piended and slated, with eaves boarding, a tiled crest, and end stacks. At the rear, the building has a shallow U-plan layout with shaped stacks and pebble-dashed walls, along with a single-storey addition. The property shares gothic gate piers and a wall with Bonnygate Church, and it is enclosed by a tall rubble boundary wall with a semi-circular cope.
