Description

Sawmill Cottage is an earlier 19th century building that features three bays and two storeys, with a small two-storey addition set back at the south end. The structure is built of rubble with droved ashlar dressings and has a slated roof. The front has a central door and a small rectangular window above it, with later gabled attic dormers on both the left and right sides. There are rectangular coped chimney stacks at the gables and a single gabled dormer at the rear.
